Miss the ocean for the waves - in a nutshell captures the essence of the “Zoomed in” perspective.

When you transfer this idea of Big picture to #problemsolving, You land at abstraction laddering. ( Well not really, but here’s How )

It’s common wisdom that defining the problem clearly solves half of it. Here’s Why - When defining it and writing it down, you’re creating an environment to capture context and enhance your context window.

The method itself is simple : Ask why multiple times and make a how for each why. The outcome is problems framed in an optimal manner - ready to be devoured.

By asking why, and then observing, you can figure out what is the actual problem to be solved. Answering the how for the other whys is building Muscle and creating distant context. Passive info that might connect the dots later.

This is a compound method and utilizes multiple ideas within, itself. Stacking and co-applying insights makes magic happen. Root-cause, first principles, etc.
